Hearing I Feel Fine -- The Beatles
Here's an idea: Sample various blogs across the world, looking for keywords that indicate the writer's state of mind. Put those samples into an art site where they are represented by floating motes, flashing blocks and other things. Let people click on the motes to read the sample, which are often strangely evocative. And there you have it: WeFeelFine.org. Check it out.
(Note -- the makers of the site recommend looking at it on a PC, not a Mac. I tried it with Firefox on a Mac and it seemed to work fine).

A warning. There does not appear to be any censoring of the results in that applet. I accidentally discovered some x-rated comments.
