Hearing How Can You Live in the Northeast? -- Paul Simon
It's my birthday today, and here's a little something I got for you: A streaming version of Paul Simon's new album Surprise (four tracks in their entirety, others sampled). I've been waiting for this album for a while, because not only did Paul Simon make one of my favorite albums ever (The Rhythm of the Saints), but the album was produced by Brian Eno, who aside from his own considerable talents as a musician (he basically created the genre of ambient music), has an enivable record as a music producer, with albums by U2 and Talking Heads under his belt. I simply couldn't imagine a collaboration by these two could be anything but excellent; now three tracks into the album I'm not disappointed in the slightest. I hope you enjoy it as much as I'm enjoying it so far.
Now I'm out of here, to enjoy my birthday. Catch you all tomorrow!
