Hearing Some song on satellite radio.
Journals Editor Joe goes into more detail on AOL's UnCut Video Beta, discussing some of the things you can, and cannot yet do. The big news here is that the plan is to allow embedded video with a soon-upcoming Journals upgrade, which could be a lot of fun.
One thing I hope they might do with UnCut Video, however, is make sure that people have the option of not having it run automatically when it is accessed. Not doing that when the video is embedded on someone's journal would mean the video runs every single time someone accesses the page and the entry the video is embedded in is still on the Journal's front page. That could get old, fast.
Joe also notes that one of the things you can do with UnCut Video that you can't do with other video sites is feed some video directly from a WebCam or camera. I'm going to have to try that out sometime soon and see how it work. Naturally, you will be able to see it, too, when I do.
In his entry, Joe is also taking suggestions as to what he should do in a video piece he'll be uploading later. Personally, I think he should do Broadway Karaoke! A little video of Journals Editor Joe dancing and singing along to "The Surry With The Fringe On Top" would be huge. HUGE!
