By The Way...

Hearing Feelin' Single - Seein' Double -- Emmylou Harris
Because I know all you like to keep tabs on me -- which is not the same thing as stalking -- I'll be traveling on Thursday to the lovely city of Madison, Wisconsin, where I'll be at Wiscon, the annual science fiction convention there. While there I'll be talking about "Chick Lit," kids, and naked-eye astronomy, and also catching up with writer friends and others. I'll post the Weekend Assignment before I head out, and will possibly post a couple of audio entries en route. Friday through Monday I'll be on a weekend schedule (which is to say, 2 or three entries a day), but everything will be back to normal next Tuesday. Feel free to plan your week accordingly.

  Too bad you're not going to be in Madison for the blooming of "Big Bucky" the corpse flower.  It smells, umm, "delightful."

  I love Madison! One of my college friends lives there with her family. Hopefully I'll get up there this summer myself. Have fun!

  Cool.  When you get to Madison, can you go down State Street and pay off a few of my bar tabs from college?
