I hear ya about losing stupid games, though. i took a job at the local Y after I stopped teaching, just to get out of the house for a few hours a week. I acually made less than I was paying my sister to watch the kids, but I got out of the house.

Anyhow... once you drop from being on a state championship soccer or basketball team to losing a game of Monkey In The Middle to a pair of 3rd graders... well, it's not that much of a leap to reach soil-your-own-bathrobe time at the nursing home.

I was just too short and slow to get to the f******g ball. I can acually remember thinking, "I'd kill these two at this game if I were 9 years old again" at one point.

I was finally able to hear your audio entry (maybe helped along by recently installed broadband high speed modem).  Thanks for the Memorial Day wishes.  Did you get some cheee curds while in Madison?    Linda in Washington state
