Hearing Georgian War March -- Mikhail Mikhailovich Ippolitov-Ivanov

Here comes Alberto, currently clocking 70 mph winds, which for those of you keeping score at home means he's just below hurricane strength. Seems like just a couple of hours ago I was reading that the forecasters didn't think Alberto would organize himself well enough to get up to hurricane intensity. Surprise! Here's the current predicted path, and here's where they have hurricane advisories. If you're in those areas, keep yourself safe. Also keep us in the loop as the storm comes your way.

One of the things I like about Cape Cod is that we're pretty much out of the coastal area that gets throttled by these beasts regularly.
We take our lumps now and then (see: Bob, 1991), but a lot of recorded history goes by between episodes where we get smited by one of those Wrath of God mothereffers like Katrina.
I live on a hill and hope for the best.
