Hearing You Got Another Thing Comin' -- Judas Priest
Given that I was just able to post a long screed about the dangers of other people on the road without any difficulty, I would say that today's R6 install went off without any major hitches. Nevertheless, if you're having any sort of problems uploading or accessing your Journal today, drop a note in the comment thread here and describe the issue you're having; I'll make sure the AOL-J tech folks hear about it.
Update, 4:30pm: Journal Editor Joe has updates on R6 here and here.

Yeah, that search box is pretty much a waste of space. I typed in Flat Scalzi and was brought to a bunch of results. I clicked on one of them and got to a place in your journal that had several entries on the page plus the comments. Not finding the words Flat Scalzi, I then hit CTRL+F then typed Flat Scalzi in and there I found it highlighted on the right side bar, which was a link to another entry. I also see, not many people are using the 'blog about this feature. I've been using it just lately to ease up on the copying and pasting.

sigh.. don't know how many more "upgrades" I can stand.. the way things are added to the top of the journal, it won't be long until you have to scroll just to read the first sentence of my journal... sorry to be a bummer about it, but it sure would be nice to be able to click on a journal and actually read some before scrolling... rant done.. thanks ..
