Hearing Crazy Love -- Van Morrison
Yes, today is Flag Day, a day in which we commemorate the adoption of the "Stars and Stripes" by the US on this day in 1777 (just in case you were wondering, you know, why June 14). Sadly, no one gets the day off today (except state workers in Pennsylvania); be that as it may, it's fine day to celebrate a grand old flag.

Great pictures, John. You've got some crazy mad Photoshop skills.
The neat thing is, Flag Day is believed to have been started right here in Wisconsin (Fredonia) by a group of school children not much older than your daughter's age. I wish I had time today to take a road-trip up there to take pictures of the schoolhouse and stuff where it all started. But, poor planning seems to be my theme of the week. Gaaah!
