What is it with bears in suburban New Jersey? First one gets run up a tree by a cat -- twice -- and now there's one who's decided it'd be a gas to take a nap in someone's hammock. Yes, there's video. I'd note that the bear gets out of a hammock the same way I do.
What I want to know is how the bear figured out what a hammock was for in the first place. I mean, no offense to hammock makers everywhere, but I wouldn't think that their purpose would be intuitive to the ursine set. Maybe I'm underestimating the bear. Wouldn't be the first time. No, I don't want to talk about that.

There was a story not too long ago about a bear taking a swim in a residential pool. Was it in NJ too? I dunno... Teresa I suspect is feeding the bears again... Julie :)

I'd heard that about Jersey gas stations myself. I think it's either to not take some poor guy's job away or safety-related.
