I just missed getting a picture of someone jumping off of the Sagamore Bridge last week... in fact, only surgery prevented it. If I were healthy, I would have chartered a boat to get a close up as he hit.
I suppose that would be the anti-still life (terminal velocity, I think they call it... roughly 120 mph, or when a human is falling so fast that he/she no longer accelerates), but it sort of fits the bill for a 1 AM comment.
The guy ended up not jumping, so all ended well. It happens less than you'd think. A girl did the leap in the 1980s, right around the time Charles Stuart took that dive off the Tobin Bridge. One of them is the most recent jumpahhhhhh.
