Hearing Catch the Moon -- Lisa Loeb and Elizabeth Mitchell
Journals Editor Joe has a casting call out for July 4th-themed blogs to highlight this weekend:
If you have a blog or specific blog entry that would fit into a July Fourth theme, or want to recommend someone else's blog thtat does, tell me about them in the comments or e-mail me directly at JournalsEditor@aol.com.
For our purposes, a "July Fourth theme" is pretty open-ended -- whatever you can come up with and reasonably justify. Examples off the top of my head include:
Joe also posts some recommendations for how to take excellent fireworks photos and hints at some possible new changes for the Blogs main page. In all, a post well worth your perusal, and I don't just say that because he's the guy who makes sure I get paid. I really mean it.

- Military Service
- Summer Vacation
- Lifeguards
- Patriotism
- Barbecue
- People Who Have to Work on the Fourth
- Public Service and Public Servants
- And more!
