Hearing Nothing at the moment
I like this job because it reminds me to do things in real life. For example, this morning, as I was trolling about the Internet, looking for tasty tidbits of information to share with you all. That's when I saw this article: 5 Ways to Destroy Your Credit, from CNNMoney, which goes over various thing people do all the time which end up putting nasty little holes in their credit rating. One way: ignoring traffic tickets, as cities and counties are now reporting unpaid tickets to credit bureaus. Which reminded me, I have a speeding ticket (whoops) that needs to be paid today. And now I'm off to pay it.
Thank you, AOL Journals, for saving my credit rating! You rock.

Only 5 ways?! I'm surprised they didn't mention anything about debt from former spouses...divorce can REALLY ruin your credit!! My divorce lawyer suggested I file for bankruptcy when I divorced years ago----I am SO GLAD I didn't take his advice. Julie
