Hearing Knights of Cydonia -- Muse

Look! It's the missus! I was mentioning today that I had to think up a Weekend Assignment, and she had an idea for one, and I thought, swell, less work for me. And so, without further ado, this week's Weekend Assignment, as suggested by Kristine Scalzi:
Weekend Assignment #120: Do a Web search on a pet's name and let us know some of the interesting things that pop up. It doesn't necessarily have to be a current pet -- if you've got a previous pet whose name will elicit more interesting Web results, by all means use that one instead.
Extra credit: Tell us an interesting name of a pet that wasn't your own.
For this, my cats are somewhat a loss; let's face it, when you name your cats "Ghlaghghee" and "Lopsided Cat," you're pretty much going to be the only thing out there on the Web. However, in the case of Lopsided Cat, I did pull up this picture of a cat carved on a pumpkin, with the carvee complaining the cat was, well, lopsided. The phrase also comes up in this Harry Potter fanfic story. Shhh. Don't tell JK Rowling.
With "Kodi," my dog's name, naturally there's a bit more traction. There's a kodi.com, for example, and a radio station with the call letters KODI, located in Cody, Wyoming. The top hit is for a white-rafting site, just in case you want to get soaked and/or dashed against river rocks. There's also Kodi Barth, a journalist, and Paul Kodi, a musician. And of course there are other dogs named Kodi, like this one and this one. Lots of Kodiness online, I have to say.
The most interesting pet name I can remember off the top of my head is the friend who named his cat "Turgid." I'm not sure I ever got an explanation for the name, but it cracked me the hell up every time I said it. And sometimes that's what you want in a pet name.
You're up! Put that pet name in a search engine and share some of the interesting things it pulls up. Drop it in your blog or journal, and then come back here to leave a link. We're sure your pet won't mind.

P.S. I am not surprised that my cat, Onyx Adam T.R. Ibbles, M.D., has a completely unique name. My sugar glider on the other hand, I do not have to search. I am sure we can all figure out the origins of "Rocky" for my flying squirrel.

I don't usually comment on things...but after an "exhausting" search--i looked at the first page--I have discovered that my dog "Lilly Ann", shares her name with a porn star. Hmmm...interesting.
