Labor Day Plans?

Hey! Journals Editor Jeff is doing that wacky, crazy group participation thing, and he wants to know: What are you doing for Labor Day? Staying at home? Visiting friends? Saying goodbye to summer with one last big party blast? Whatever you're doing, Jeff wants to know. So tell him, over at his Journal.

Here's what I will be doing for Labor Day: Laboring! My latest book is edging toward being alarmingly overdue, so I really really really really really really need to finish this book, not just to keep my editor from having a seizure, but also for my own peace of mind. I want to be done, you know? I see the light at the end of the tunnel, and I just have to type my way there.

And then when I'm done, I'll take a quick break, pat myself on the back, and start on the next book. Yeah, it's a vicious cycle.

Did any other moms read the title of this entry and think "Labor Pains," or am I on an island on this one?
