Ghostbusters II: A Hidden Classic?

Ghostbusters II, for those of you who were there when it happened, was an almost awesomely disappointing movie; rarely has such a good film been followed up by such an appallingly poor one, especially with the same creative team on board. I remember simply being agog at its badness. But every bad film has its champion, and Ghostbusters II has a champion here: Ten Things I Liked About Ghostbusters II. Personally, I found the article more amusing than the movie. What are you going to do. Aside from calling the Ghostbusters, I mean.

The best thing about Ghostbusters II is that there wasn't a Gostbusters III.

    "Hey, she's tough!  She's a harbor chick!"

That was perhaps the best way I've ever heard the Statue of Liberty described.

Haha...well, as kids, which I was when Ghostbusters 2 was released, I don't think you see the badness in a film.

Me and my brother were so excited (I was only 6). I remember seeing it at the cinema and loved it, and still do, but I think my fondness of it just carried itself into adulthood..lol!
