Hearing Nothing at the moment.

Another in a series of studies that frankly sound too ridiculous to be true, and yet appear to be:
The length of a girl's ring finger could be an indicator of her future sporting potential, researchers at King's College London said on Thursday. In the largest study of its kind, hand measurements of 607 female twins aged 25-79 from the UK were compared with the women's lifetime sporting achievements.
The findings, published in the British Journal of Sports Medicine, found that women with ring fingers longer than their index fingers had performed better at running and associated running sports such as soccer and tennis.
They've noticed the correlation, but they're not sure about the causation, which is really what I want to know. Because, honestly, that's just weird, and I want to know how things get weird.
No, I haven't checked Athena's fingers to see how she may do in the whole sports thing. She plays sports; she seems to like them; she seems to do just fine in them so far. That's enough for us.
