Hearing Snow White Queen -- Evanescence

My Hummingbird Sense is Tingling!

If you thought that five senses were all there were to perceive the world, then you haven't spent nearly enough time in the animal kingdom. This nifty slideshow catches you up to speed on ten senses animals have that you don't -- from the electrical sensory perception of sharks to the extra light-sensing eye apparatus of cats. All of which makes it that much easier to hunt you. Yes, you. Be sure to top out the cat food bowl. You want to keep that pet logy.

I was over at Northern Trip...looking at his photos of beauty,,,here in this entry with our senses,,,,I wrote an comment there but wanted to share it here too...

This thought,,,I think would make a great book or movie although I don't have the gift for this....What do you think?

Say a man gets this gift. For one year of his life, he is able to travel around the world and see all the beauty in the world. ALL the mountain terrains, all the oceans, all luminescence landscapes, see love, everything his eyes saw was landscapes of beauty and people who did good things for each other,,,and then the next year of his life he could see no beauty, ,,,,barren land from storms, famine, poverty ,,,war,,,,Maybe he is an artist, a loner,,and paints along the way,,,

Two complete opposites in two years,,,,and in the end,,the moral?...He would brave the ugly of man just to see another glimpse of beauty in a sunset....

I've long imagined that I can close my eyes, concentrate really hard, and cause explosions in distant galaxies.
