Hearing Careless Whispers -- Wham!

This Just In: Sixth Seal of the Apocalypse Has Just Been Cracked!

Gird your loins, boys and girls -- Wham! is getting back together:

Eighties pop wunderkinds George Michael and Andrew Ridgley will reunite as Wham! for a special concert this Christmas as part of Michael's solo world tour.

"George is thrilled that Andrew's agreed to perform," a source told Britain's Sunday Mirror. "It was something George had thought about for a long time. He couldn't be happier and can't wait for the gig." Michael often squashed rumors of a potential reunion in the past due to Ridgley's refusal to participate.

See, George said to Andrew to wake him up before he go goes. Because he's not planning on going solo, you see.

Yes, I know. I'm going to Hell for that one.

Is there any now-defunct band you hope will reunite for your pleasure?

I would love to see The Police get  back together,  but we know that will never happen in a million years.

I loved Wham in College! I knew George had talent. Too bad his personal life gets in the way with his mom's death but last I heard (interview on tv) he found the love of his life through that & was back on tract. Not sure with what I just heard last night that he was arrested for the 4th time in 8mo for being drunk in public. Hmmm. Actually, I'd like to see that concert. I saw him once I think when I was in college when he was solo. Well, DePeche Mode concert I was suppose to go to last spring was canceled so that blew that one. YES.... ELO! I loved them. I know Jeff Lynne still does work but I missed their concert. I won tickets & my folks wouldn't let me go because I was only like 13 & "they smoked pot at the concert" my mom's cousin said! UGH!!!!
