Hearing Matador -- Daniel Lanois

We're getting closer to Halloween, so I thought we might scare up some music to go with it:
Weekend Assignment: We're making a Halloween Music Mix! Suggest a song. The song can be scary, spooky or silly, but it should fit into Halloween somehow. All genres are acceptable; indeed, I'd be very interested to know of a country or samba song that would work.
Extra Credit: Are you spooked easily?
My pick for the mix is a song I highlighted a few months back, but which gets funnier every single time I listen to it: "Re: Your Brains" by Jonathan Coulton. It's what happens when that go-getting Yuppie scum from Marketing gets turned into a zombie and wants to have a meeting about eating your brains. It's gorgeous. It's also a reminder that zombies are pretty darn funny. When they're not chewing on your glands, that is. That link, incidentally, will take you to a page where you can read the lyrics and hear a streaming version of the song. Mmmm... zombies.
Am I easily spooked? No, if by "spooked" you mean "flail about and scream when surprised." I rarely do that. However, I am easily creeped out -- lots of things give me the shivers and make my flesh crawl. That's not so bad; it makes watching scary movies more enjoyable.
You're up: Go through your music collection, find a song that's perfect for Halloween, and then tell us about it in your blog or journal. Then come back here and leave a link. I'm betting we'll put together a hell of a playlist.

Well I was bored and changed my template and left out the music. I had the theme song from the movie "Halloween" on there. So that's my spooky song suggestion. Sorry for driving you nuts with all the comments.

I found you 'spooky' country song, John, but alas, no Samba. A little Alan Jackson does the trick.
Also managed to not only post lyrics, but the whole song as well! w00t! Song will play upon visiting the actual journal page, and not just the link to the entry. For those with dial up, I apologize in advance.

P.S--for those who know how to work their FTP and would like to post their song to their blog (I think this might only work for AOL blogs..?) please e-mail me for the code you need as well as instructions :)
