Hearing Silent Night -- Sarah McLachlan. She's put out a new Christmas album.
Funny thing about blogs and journals is that lots of people feel guilty if they don't update them on a regular basis, and will post "this is why I haven't been posting" posts the first thing when they come back. This person has collected up some of them. Some are comical, some are sad, and some are, just, well, strange:
"I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile. I've been so busy, but hopefully we'll catch up on things. Anyway, my great-grandmother died today."
That's an interesting way to segue into that news, isn't it. Each excuse comes with a link back to the entry in question. What I find interesting is that often the "sorry I haven't been blogging" entry is the last entry in a blog. The psychodynamics of blogs are interesting -- and predictable. That's what I'm trying to say.

Its like not like not making that overdue phone call to an old friend...guilt ridden for days....I think those collections of great entries would make a good Saturday Night episode...can you imagine conversing with short serious absolutes?....oh my husband got hit by a rail train yesterday...how are you doing?....Oh, I lost my job and havent eaten in 30 days...but how are you doing...lmao

Funny....especially the one that said that her cat hid her keyboard, instead of the "mouse". I always just say that hey life happens...it gets in the way of journaling. Mon..watch out for snapping turtles, dangerous critters...Sandi

They forgot one: AOL won't let me, there's something wrong with the journals again today :)

Warning: There's the occasional bad word in the excuses, and definitely the comments.
