Hearing The Other Side of Twilight -- Robert Rich
Some links for you to get you started on another Monday morning:
* Is AOL going to be spun off from Time Warner? TW's CEO weighs in on the possibility. The real question is, if Time Warner lets go of AOL, how long will it be before someone snatches it up?
* The blog world is maintaining that Miracle Whip's formula has changed, and not for the better. Tastes the same to me.
* Why did your teen smash up the car? Possibly because he or she was trying to send text messages and drive at the same time. That's cause for grounding for life.
* A close up of a kitty tongue. Cute and kinda disturbing.
* A science link for you: Two bacteria discovered with genomes so small, scientists aren't entirely sure why they're actually alive at all. Science! It's weird!
* You know how I do all those weird things to my photos with Photoshop? For those of you who don't want to shell out several hundred bucks for that program, here's an interesting free alternative. Only for PC, though. Also check out these interesting free fonts. The Internet, it just gives and gives.
* Bad news for expatriate Aussies: The US is banning Vegemite. It's sort of disturbing stuff anyway; it's the yeasty goop left over after you make beer. I mean, really: Ick. But apparently the rest of the world thinks the US is insane for eating peanut butter. What can you do.

Paint .NET looks very cool! I don't know if AOL Journals uses the trackback protocol, but I thought I'd let you know I've linked to you from my professional blog (e)Mail Insecurity.
Thanks a ton for this list of links! I think Paint .NET might be just what I've been needing. -
Thanks for the link to Paint.net. I'm always looking for a better photo manipulation tool. The one that came with my Dell was crap. The one that came with my HP printer was crap. My Dad keeps harping on me to download Google's Picasa (have you had any experience with that one? My Dad seems to like it). I'll definitely give this one a try.
