Hearing Werewolf -- Cat Power
This week for the Photo Shoot, it's time to show off!
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Take a picture of something you've made. Pottery, cookies, a drawing or painting, a poem or a pipe cleaner stick man -- it's all good, it just has to have been made by you. Show off your creativity.
This is mine, which came by truck today:

As part of my contract with my publisher, I get 40 copies of my latest book to give out to friends and family. The first of these copies goes to my mother-in-law, and the second goes to my local library. It's always very cool to get these copies, because it really makes it real that the book is out there, and not just in my head anymore. That's just cool stuff, you know? Now, to be fair, this isn't all my handiwork: The cover is by an artist named Shelley Eshkar, and other people helped to edit it and design it. But on the other hand, if I hadn't have written the book, all of the other folks who had a hand in the book would have had to find something else to do with their time. So while lots of folks help put a book together, I can say this is my book. Wheee!
You're up: Show off something you made. Take a picture, post it on your blog or journal, and then come back here to leave a link. I hope you have fun with this one!

Ok, great way to plug a book. Mother in law & library. Does a copy go to your mother?
