Boo! Yes, Photoshop certainly does allow one to do spooky things to one's kids. I'm just trying to get into the Halloween mood, is all.
If you're looking for a way to creep yourself out without having to resort to image manipulation software, here's a suggestion: Google Books has bundled up pdf files of some classic (read: public domain) horror tales for you -- from Dracula to The Turn of the Screw. It's a great way to scare yourself and be literate, all at the same time! And it's free. Free and scary: a winning combination.
