One of the reasons I dig this job is that I can write a headline that's a snarky take off on Nietzsche and get away with it. Look, ma! My philosophy degree is finally paying off!
And yes, that really is a picture of a mouse retina, and you're looking at it (and it is looking back at you!) because it is part of an exhibit of totally awesome biological microphotography called Bioscapes. Check it out and have your mind blown, on a very small scale.

Hmm... The picture kind of looks like the metro-Milwaukee traffic report I just saw on the news this morning. Looks like we've got a breakdown at the stadium interchange, John. I'd suggest taking the side streets, but those look pretty clogged.
