Hearing Limon Y Sal -- Julieta Venegas

This is a nice, roomy, modern-looking church, and it's not until you look closely that you notice something truly unusual about it; namely, that it made entirely from LEGO blocks. It's the Abston Church of Christ, and it's one of the more impressive LEGO creations I've seen in a while. Not entirely sure a LEGO crucifix is actually tasteful, but other than that I think it's awesome. The Web site says that "It contains approximately 75,000 pieces, including almost 4000 windows, seats 1372 minifigs and is about 7 feet long by 5 1/2 feet wide." Yow. LEGO ought to send this person some free pieces.

Dear John,
~~~ to Paul b.t.w.... how interesting! I noted the Green Dragon wasn't too much impressed by attendence, and it is jusr way too hard to impress Paul, but I bet Shauneen and Caroline , Carolyn, Bea and Sheria might go nuts with this! And Sugar Penny and Barbara and even Sherms! Charlie too!
My only thing with it is ..hey why didn't they put in a family activity center with a gym?Those are teh grooviest places for kids ot play ina "real" church!
Really interesting John! What did Krissy and Athena think?
It's a mini-mega-church! I am surprised at one detail--yes, it's the crucifix. As I recall, the Church of Christ is a protestant denomination. An empty cross rather than a crucifix would be displayed as protestant denominations focus more on the risen Christ rather than the crucified Christ (although both aspects are important).
Still, this is really, amazingly cool. This guy deserves a huge box of Legos!
I like how they made it sparsely attended, just like a real church.
