Hearing The Man Who Sold The World -- Nirvana

It looks like Lopsided Cat is looking directly at me; he's not. I took this photograph from my home office, which is on the second floor of my house, while Lopsided Cat was about 100 feet away in the yard. The stream of water he's sitting next to is what I like to call the "Scalzi River" which appears in our yard whenever we get particularly heavy rain, of the sort we've been getting the last couple of days. Usually, what Lopsided Cat would be sitting next to would just be yard. What he's doing there is getting a drink. This despite the fact that he has fresh water inside. Sometimes domestic cats like to feel like they're roughing it, you know? Either that or he's hunting crawdads, which occasionally show up when we get the river in the yard. Maybe he's doing both: Dinner and a drink.
How's the weather where you are?

It's friggin' freezing out here in California. I was just informed that Kiev is, at the moment, warmer than the Bay Area.

More snow on the way, it's below the freezing level, and lots of icy patches are all around here in Vancouver, John. At least we got through the latest power failure, without frostbite.

Raining. Again. I am so sick of it. Ick. Lopsided Cat is a good looking cat though...
be well,
Dawn
