Hearing Private Universe
Here's a fascinating story about a German woman who spent almost all of her childhood and teenage years in the jungles of Indonesia, living with the tribes there, and then left to Europe, where she's lived since. She's written a book about the experience, and in the article she talks about the struggles she's had adapting to the world she's in now after living in the world she was in before. It certainly gives you perspective whenever you might be feeling like a fish out of water somewhere. You have it easy compared to Sabine Kuegler.
