Hearing Nothing at the moment.

I've been playing around in Photoshop again, clearly. In this case, I've been trying to make pictures feel more three dimensional by making their subject "stand up" out of the picture frame, as in this case, as Athena runs about the yard. The nice thing about this is that it's relatively simple to do if you have Photoshop, or any image process program that allows you to use layers. Here's a short and useful tutorial on how to do it; see if it doesn't help you make your own pictures go "pop."

In case you need an extreme low for your How Technical Are My Readers scale, it's quite possible that I have Photoshop on my computer and am not aware of it.... even though I play with the camnera a lot.

Consider trying GimpShop. It appears to be designed to mimic Photoshop's menus and actions to make life easier for those who are familiar with PS.

I san that article (on digg or fark or phototips), and was just playing with it myself today! I don't have a full blown version of Photoshop (I have to make due with Photoshop Elements), but I have been having a blast playing with it...

I miss my Photoshop every single day since I got my new computer. Right now, I use Gimp which is pretty decent, but still, Photoshop is the standard. *sigh*
