Hearing Everything Counts -- Depeche Mode
The nice thing about a snow delay day: I get to sleep in an extra two hours before I have to take Athena to school! Go snow delays!
The not-so-nice thing about a snow delay day: I have two fewer hours to get all my work done. Boo, snow delays!
I'm going to solve the problem by doing less work today. Shhhh. Don't tell my bosses.
The funny thing is, there wasn't that much snow this morning, and while the snow was coming down even as I was taking Athena to school, it was certainly manageable. I suppose school officials have to take their best guesses. They also have to take the school buses into consideration, and what might be perfectly fine for a car isn't going to work for a bus. It's all very complicated, I suppose. All I know was I was happy to get an extra two hours of sleep. Now I'm perky!
