Hearing Nothing at the moment
Fellow is curious: What happens if he mails a letter not with stamps, but with money taped to the envelope?
Fellow gets an answer here.
Don't be like this fellow, incidentally. You can find a stamp.

Once upon a time, around 1975, I walked into the village of Manlius to mail a letter to my friend. I think postage was 10 cents at the time. Maybe it was 15 or 20, but it was a nice, easy number for which you could pay with one or two coins.
I was about two blocks from the post office when I saw I was passing a mail drop on the street. I thought, why alk all the way to the post office when I can just mail it here? So I dropped in the letter.
It wasn't until I got home that I remembered my letter had no stamp on it.
I wrote a note to whatever postal worker might empty the mailbox, said that "somewhere in this mailbox" was my letter that needed postage, and I was sorry for the inconvenience. I taped a coin or two to the note, walked back into the village and dropped it in.
A day or two later, I got a note in my mailbox. "Found your letter. Affixed stamp. Glad to be of service."
Service, indeed!

Lucky he's not involved in a paternity suit..... hate to get THAT letter.

That person CLEARLY has entirely too much time on his hands and not enough to do. I suffer from exactly the opposite problem--I really shouldn't be reading this and I need to get my nose back to the grindstone like the rest of us working stiffs. Clearly a stupid stunt, indeed!!
