Hearing Bold as Love -- John Mayer
So this guys decides to propose to his girl, and does it by buying a commercial during her favorite TV show. Then, he has someone record her reaction. My thought: Good thing she was, you know, actually watching. Although I suppose that if you went through the effort of buying a commercial on a national TV, you might also make sure she was there for it.
I also hope the next words out of his mouth were not "incidentally, I'm $250,000 in debt from buying commercial time on network television."
Here's the whole story behind it, because, honestly, how could one not blog about it?

Good job she said yes. B.

I was so mad that they didn't show it during the Superbowl... it would have been great!
be well,

It'd be funny if they had a hidden camera on her as she answered, and a hulking black crack dealer walked through the background in his drawers, drinking the guy's beer.

And you know after this what is the next poor slob going to do to top this. Guys are always trying to one up each other.
Now if she said NO that would be more interesting! HA!
