How Marriage Proposals Get Done, 2007


So this guys decides to propose to his girl, and does it by buying a commercial during her favorite TV show. Then, he has someone record her reaction. My thought: Good thing she was, you know, actually watching. Although I suppose that if you went through the effort of buying a commercial on a national TV, you might also make sure she was there for it.

I also hope the next words out of his mouth were not "incidentally, I'm $250,000 in debt from buying commercial time on network television."

Here's the whole story behind it, because, honestly, how could one not blog about it?

    Good lord...now everyone will watch to see if they get a divorce down the road! Wait..someone will buy a commercial to show his or her spouse cheating on them & asking for a divorce! YIPES...what else will the media get involved in?

    And you know after this what is the next poor slob going to do to top this. Guys are always trying to one up each other.

    Now if she said NO that would be more interesting! HA!
