Hearing Epiphany -- Joe Lima

Dude, I'll Be Here Until April

The fifth step on the stairs: This is where Lopsided Cat has parked himself for the last week, for at least 22 hours a day, leaving only to snack at the food bowl and then take short, five-minute bathroom breaks outside. Lopsided Cat is normally outside almost all the time, but for the last week the temperatures have been in the single digits (or low double digits) during the day, and somewhere close to zero at night. Apparently, Lopsided Cat doesn't play that. Instead he chooses the feline form of hibernation which you see detailed here.

Rumor has it we may see the mid-20s over the weekend. Will this be enough to raise Lopsided Cat from his stair-bound torpor? We shall see. In the meantime, I'm just careful where I step.

You are so kind! I keep telling my babies how lucky they are not cats who do not have a warm homey!

Soo cute! Cats and stairs just naturally seem to go together, like peanut butter and jam. Thanks for sharing~
