Hearing Such Great Heights -- The Postal Service
Get ready to get up there up this week's Monday Photo Shoot:
Your Monday Photo Shoot: Show off a picture taken from a height. "A height" you can define as "Higher than I could shoot a picture by holding the camera over my head." Pictures from planes, from the observation decks of skyscrapers, from the roof of your house (although I don't want to put yourself in physical danger to take a picture) or wherever is up there in the air.
Here's mine:

About halfway through the trip from Philadelphia (where my connection flew out of) to Boston I wondered to myself "have we passed New York City yet?" And then I looked out the window and there it was -- New York City. Naturally I had to snap a picture. That's Brooklyn in the foreground and downtown Manhattan (of course) in the middle, with Jersey on the other side.
I have a lot of friends down there. I waved. I don't think they saw me.
You're up: Grab the camera and get tall, or look through your photos and find one of a certain altitude. Then post it on your blog or journal and come back here to leave a link! And remember, just because it's called the "Monday Photo Shoot" doesn't mean you can't post later -- any time through Thursday noon should be fine.

Sorry it's late. I tried to do it earlier in the week, but the entry would not save for some reason and I did not have time to redo it at that time.
Have a great weekend!~
