Hearing Shake the Disease (Tiga Remix)
If you want to feel like science is filled with mad mad mad scientists doing crazy things for no particularly obvious good reason, get your creep on with LiveScience's slide show of Freaky Lab animals. From phosphorescent pigs (from which we'll get glow-in-dark bacon, I hope) to goats crossed with spider, it's enough to make you imagine Dr. Frankenstein getting the creeps. And while I'm personally not opposed to all this genetic tomfoolery myself, I have to tell you that the rat with the human ear growing out of its back is, well, maybe a little outside my normal comfort zone. I do want glowy bacon, though.

Now you can tape glow-in-the-dark-bacon to your cat without the aid of a flashlight. Ha!
