Hearing Someone Nice Like you -- Sammy Davis, Jr.
I've posted links like this before, but it's always worth repeating for folks who still don't clue into the idea that screenwriters are not usually physicists: 9 Laws of Physics That Don’t Apply in Hollywood, or, why the chance of your car randomly exploding gets exponentially smaller the further you get from a movie set. Which should be a relief, shouldn't it? I yet, I can't help but feel disappointed. I like the pretty booms. Also, glowing radioactive people. Who explode! Man, that's cool.

I should also add that I spent 100% of my time in high school physics class trying to figure out how to cross and uncross my legs properly in a skirt, so as to make myself appealing to the linebacker-type kid in the class that I had a crush on.
Either way...phrase your response in that context. Merci...
