Hearing Nothing at the moment
Gaze upon the "Spite House" -- a four-story, five-foot-wide building constructed for the express purpose of annoying another person. I love it. I also can't imagine living in a five-foot-wide house. Seems a little stupid. But, then, I don't have to live there. So rock on, spiteful landlord dude!
For a modern example of this sort of thin living, check out this house in Brazil: One meter wide, ten meters tall. Not gonna live there, either

The old man, who had acquired a reputation as a miser, was obdurate. "Not only will I build the houses," he insisted, "but I will live in one of them and I shall rent to other tenants as well. Everybody is not fat and there will be room enough for people who are not circus or museum folk."
Curse those museum folk!

"NOW who's annoyed, sucka? Have fun at the Motel 6."
