Hearing Nothing at the moment
Someone is making vitamin-enriched donuts:
Each Super Donut packs 14 minerals, vitamins and protein, while delivering all the sugary sweetness, calories 'n' carbs, fabulous fat and greasy goodness we love in a doughnut.
Super Donuts have no artificial colors or flavors, no preservatives and no trans fat.
Each doughnut has seven grams of protein ... and it still tastes like a gooey gob of heaven...
Here's the blueprint of a Super Donut: enriched flour, water, sugar, palm oil, cottonseed or canola oil, yeast, wheat protein, milk protein and a whole bunch of vitamins and minerals.
Total calories: 240. Fat grams: 13. Fiber: 1. Carbs: 24. Manufacturer's suggested retail price: $2.99 for a box of six.
The article's writer says that they're donuts that are good for you, but this isn't quite accurate. It's probably better to say that it's a donut that's less bad for you. It's nice it's vitamin fortified, but you're still sucking down 240 calories of fat and starch. That's not precisely healthy, especially if you eat more than one.
Bear in mind that I'm personally a big fan of donuts, so I'm not about to criticize people for eating them. Really, enjoy. Just don't be looking at one and think "now that's vitamin-enriched it's good for me," and start basing your diet around them. I'm trying to help you, here.

This is almost as good as Krispy Kreme's attempt at a whole wheat donut. I just can't help but link the audio blog I did on the subject as it's related. Watch out though, bringing up confectionary sweetness gets me all warm inside. Now, if someone comes up with a fat free, 0 calorie donut, I'm starting a new Dunkin Donuts Diet Revolution.

Once you've committed to eating sugared dough for breakfast, you may as well go all out, and try to block an artery.
