Hearing Nothing at the moment
The story of the largest nuclear device ever detonated. One of the takeaways from the story is that there is such a thing as too much atom bomb, although I suppose at the height of the Cold War that probably would have been a heretical notion.
I'm not naive enough to believe the bad old days of nuclear brinksmanship are behind us, but I am at least glad no one's fiddling with bombs of this size.
