Hearing Pop! Goes My Heart -- Pop!
Holy cow, how did it get to be 2:20 pm? Oh, yeah, that's right, I slept until nearly 11 because I feel like hell (this is what I get for having an eight-year-old bringin home new diseases from school every single day), and then I've been spending the last three hours in a complete fugue state, basically going "guuuuuuuuuuh." Now I need to go pick up my daughter from school and take her to the dentist, which you recall she was at last week. They spotted a cavity that time; this time we get to fill it. Athena's not really looking forward to that one, I suspect.
It's just me, but this week really feels like it's going at triple speed, and I'm running at half-speed, and so that makes everything feel like it's whizzing by at six times speed. You know, it's like "bug meet windshield." I suspect I'll feel better once my sinuses stop feeling like they're encroaching on my lower jaw.
Yes, I know. I'm whining.
How are you?

If you're feeling unproductive this evening, I recommend watching the webcast of the second launch attempt of the SpaceX Falcon 1 rocket. Webcast should start at 6 Eastern and the launch window opens at 7. There will be a link off the main SpaceX web page. Launch might happen, might be a scrub, but at least you'll get to watch LOX boil-off that reminds you of your nasal drip!
