Hearing Monkey Wrench -- Foo Fighters
I thought I'd make this Weekend Assignment easy:
Weekend Assignment #157: So, what's in your fridge? Be honest. If you include a picture of the current state of the fridge, that'd be nifty.
Extra Credit: What's the oldest thing in the fridge?
Behold, the Scalzi fridge!

Isn't it lovely? Let's start the tour:
Top Shelf: V8 reduced sodium (tastes like ass), Country Crock fake-butt-not-exactly-margarine-either, leftover chicken (on top of Country Crock), Athena's used water (opened, not completely drunk, we have 14,000 like it in the house) and behind the used water, pears.
Second Shelf: Filtered water (we have well water, tastes like ass), orange juice of what's left of it, various yogurts and fruit cups which I'm supposed to be eating, but eh, what's the rush? It's yogurt. It's already gone bad.
Third Shelf: The soda shelf, currently occupied by Diet Coke, Coke Zero and Diet Cherry 7up. Why both Diet Coke and Coke Zero? I drink one and Krissy drinks the other. Why the diet cherry 7up? Because if I didn't space out all the Coke Zeros, I would do nothing but twitch all day long.
Fourth Shelf: The lunch meats and cheeses. There's most of a cow and some of a pig in here.
Bottom Shelf: Krissy's unspeakably good salsa, and no I won't share the recipe, a questionable cheese dip, and a beer. That's Krissy's.
Subbasement: Vegetable crisper, and you can just see a package of strawberries. The strawberries have been their so long that they're making their own antibiotics.
Oldest thing in the fridge? Low Sodium V8. V8 minus sodium equals yuck. Just so you know.
Your turn: Explore the vasty recesses of your refrigerator and share with us all what (hopefully) consumable wonders you find! Write it up in your blog or journal and then come back here to leave a link. Hopefully everyone will walk away from this Weekend Assignment hungry.
