Hearing The Waiting -- Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers
This weekend's Weekend Assignment asked folks to detail the inner lives of their refrigerators. And what did we find, chilled to perfection?
"... leftover something, jellies, jams, preserves, pickles, relishes, chow, that's a pecan pie under the sodas, and small tubs of butter."
"14 different kinds of cheese. LOL. Yep, you read correct, 14 different kinds of cheese. :) We like cheese very much. Cheese makes the world go round. Cheese is our friend."
"Sugar Free Jello. Don't let anyone fool you. They don't count as dessert!"
"What person can’t live without the Girl Scouts' Samoa Ice cream? It’s only available during cooking selling/eating season, so buy it when you can."
"Between the ketchup, mustard, pickles, hot sauce, mayo, eggs and left overs, is a bag with my ironing in it."
"GoGurt, garlic (mmmm), applesauce, chocolate chips (in the bowl), leftover meatloaf (in the bag)."
"The Alpo replaces Premiere dog food, the Safeway house brand that's now on the do-not-feed-to-Tuffy-under-any-circumstances list."
"This week John told us to take a picture of our fridge...and I did! I swear, sometimes I think I'm going to be among the first against the wall when the revolution comes."
Heh. I like that last one. Thanks everyone -- it was interesting to get a glimpse into your lives, through your icebox.
