Hearing Nothing at the moment
You know, of all the small and simple pleasures this life affords, there's perhaps none so poignant as the one in which a cat with a urinary tract infection pees on the comforter of the bed, while one's incredulous and rapidly enraging wife stares disbelievingly on.
Yes, truly, a moment to be cherished forever.
This is to say my morning is going to be spent in the vet's office, trying to see what we can do with the cat before my wife actually and genuinely strangles it. I'll check in again probably later this afternoon.
To keep you occupied, and to cleanse the image of a sick, micturating feline from your head, here's a lovely photo of last night's sunset:

See? Much better.

aw... so sad when our pets get sick... they can't help themselves. I have a chair that turned up wet.. didn't know how it got wet... can only surmise that our dog did it.. but why she didn't get out of the chair to do it? SO I began to wonder if she is getting old (she is 12 years old) and perhaps she could be in the beginning stages of bladder issues... I'll be taking her to the vet soon, I'm pretty sure. I hope your feline friend gets well very soon. bea

Unless Krissy was actually IN THE BED AT THE TIME (as I was when my little angel tried a trick like that), she has nothing to complain about.

Wow. Our cat, "Muffy Waffles", has a similar future. Vet or death, we're not sure which yet. Our comforter is safe, but the cushion on our moon chair may never be the same. Maybe it's a planned feline revolt. Not well planned, not well planned...
