A Little Something for All You Harry Potter Fans


The cover art for the final Harry Potter book is now out and available for your perusal. Those of you who are true completists will want to view this collection of hi-res cover art, not only for the US version but for the UK kids and adult versions as well. Don't say I never did anything for you.

    I'm always intrigued by differing cover art. I have this beautiful edition of the Silmarillion illustrated by Nesmith, that my friend got for me in England, which is nothing compared to what I got in the US. My English version of Dreamsongs by George R.R. Martin is amazingly rich with detail as well.

    I guess it's entirely up to the publisher as to what gets the space, however I wonder if anything has been released worldwide with the exact same artwork or picture.

    Although for an author it must have been really cool to see what they came up with for Old Man's War. Frankly, I loved the French version and the Japanese was pretty awesome too.

    My kids never got into this franchise, but maybe one of you can tell me... at what age, if your son is still into Harry Potter, do you send him off to military school or to spend the summer living with a tougher friend- perhaps in a black neighborhood?
