Hearing The Beginning of the End -- Nine Inch Nails

A Shoutout to the Kids With Their Crazy Rock Music

If what you need to get you going today is a jolt of hyperaggressive nihilism -- I mean, more than you usually get out of your morning drivetime blast of talk radio -- it may interest you to know that the popular music combo Nine Inch Nails is streaming its new album Year Zero off its Web site for you to listen to (they will ask you for an e-mail address in order to hear it; this is why I have a separate address for just these sorts of things).

And how is it? Well, if you know anything about NIN, you know that the brains behind that operation, Trent Reznor, is a man who no amount of hugs will ever cure. But he makes interesting and loud music, and I like interesting and loud, and this is both. I wouldn't suggesting listening to it if you have issues with profanity and mature themes, however.

I don't think it works anymore, but "Eraser" by NIN is my blog's Theme Music.

I have to be in a really dark mood to listen to NIN, but when I do, God they are my 'perfect drug.'

You liked that right there didn't you? ;)

Thanks for the link. Free is always good and a email spam account is even better.
