This lovely story:

Doctor Finds Spiders in Ear of Boy With an Earache

My mother-in-law has a spider phobia. This story won't help.

All right, I"m stepping away from the hotel business center now. Checking out, having lunch, possibly buying a new laptop, and then I'm on my way to Washington DC. You kids be good to each other in my absence.

  I think it's the cheesy grin on the boys face that gets me most. I can imagine this kid at 22, in a bar, pulling out this folded and faded picture saying, "Yeah, I was that kid with the spiders in my ear, see," and aping that grin.

  If you hunt around, some scientist guy just got the "most detailed picture of a supernova ever (28y2007, or something like that)." I just saw it on the telly.
  
  You know I don't care about science, but even I thought that picture was cool.
