Hearing Nothing at the moment
-- I'm 38 today.
How did that happen?
Oh yeah: I avoided not breathing for all this time. That's the trick of it, you know. Just keep breathing. The rest of it takes care of itself.
And I'm in the airport in Richmond, Va, waiting for the flight that will take me home after three weeks of being away from home and family. As you might imagine, I'm beyond happy about that. It was a great book tour and I had a blast, but now I'm ready to be home.
As my birthday indulgence, and because today is the first day I'll be seeing my family in a while and I want to focus on them, I'm going to postpone the Weekend Assignment and the Monday Photo Shoot results until tomorrow. This will give those of you who haven't caught up with this week's Monday Photo Shoot an extra day to get those pictures in. Get to it!
In the meantime, I hope you all have a great day on my birthday. I know I will because I'll my family. That's a pretty good gift.

Happy birthday, for yesterday.
I'll be 38 one day.
I think i feel much older already. My knees are in their 60's for sure!

Wishing you nothing but all the best of Birthdays, John. My Mom-in-law shares the honour with you, but I won't tell you her age. She still thinks she's only 39, though.
