Hearing Basket Case -- Green Day

Darth Vader: Basket Case

This we knew:

Anakin Skywalker, the Star Wars character who became Darth Vader, had borderline personality disorder, psychiatrists report.

The news comes not from a galaxy far, far away, but from San Diego, where the American Psychiatric Association (APA) is holding its 160th annual meeting.

Experts from the psychiatric department at France's University Hospital of Toulouse told the APA's annual meeting that Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader could "clearly" be diagnosed with borderline personality disorder.

Now, the real question is: We he really crazy, or just written really poorly? That's the thing with George Lucas: You just never know.

I think this article is stupid and who ever wrote this stupid article should be ashamed of making fun of the mental ill.   How in the world can you diagnose a character that isn't real. What idiot goes around diagnosing fictional characters.  Furthermore, I get tired of people acting like it is the mental ill that is violent and dangerous.  You know there is such a thing as evil in the world.  Motives like jealous, greed, pride, hatred are culprits of violence more than mental illness.  Stop making fun of the mental ill, before allow it to happens to you!

I don't know what's better, the fact they wasted time on this, or this message:

The researchers aren't suggesting that real people with borderline personality disorder are Darth Vaders-in-the-making. Skywalker's symptoms are an extreme, fictional case.

All those borderline personality Vader wannabe's were rejoicing at an excuse until that sentence popped up.
