Hearing Too Late For Love -- Def Leppard

For When You're Standing, Lost, In the Video Store

This list of the 25 Best Movies You've Never Seen. I don't agree with that some of these constitute the "best" movies you've never seen, but at least some of them are pretty good. Also, incidentally, I've seen them all. Hey, being a movie critic for 15 years will make that happen.

Incidentally, my vote for the best movie you've never seen? Mindwalk.

Two are faves, and I've at least heard of a few of the others. I've mentioned the week John watched Buckaroo Banzai six simes, yes? Thought so.

Eh, my vote in this category always goes for Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead, which manages to be both incredibly (yet smartly) funny and a profoundly (yet neither spoon-fed nor cliched) thought-provoking existential re-mix of Shakespeare's Hamlet.

Richard Dreyfus could have stolen the show if his acting skills hadn't been matched by those of his co-actors. Instead, all the main roles are powerfully, deeply and yet gleefully played out in a rolling good time of a movie that doesn't sacrifice intelligence for enjoyment. Now, that's my idea of a good time.

I have actually seen a few of these! I love Time after Time... have watched it many times. Love the Gojira... the ORIGINAL Godzilla and it totally kicks ass! And, I love The Black Cat! LOL I also thought that Falling Down and Breakdown were good and totally underrated...

    be well,
    Dawn

Well, they were right about the never having seen part. I have only seen one from that list.

The only one I've seen on there is Heavenly Creatures. Peter Jackson did a hell of a job with that movie.

    Besides. Three words and adjective:

    Young Kate Winslet

    Yummy.
