The Weekend Assignment asked: Who would you remove from history, if you could? The AOL Journalers and others who tackled the question have come up with a diverse group of missing persons:
Dr. Alfred P Southwick (who invented the electric chair)
Mark David Chapman (he who killed John Lennon)
"The individual or individuals who caused King Philip's War."
Charlie Manson (mass murderer, all-around crazy guy)
Countess Erzsébet Báthory (mass murderer, all-round crazy gal)
Saloth Sar (aka known as "Pol Pot")
I find it heartening that mostly we've gotten rid of folks who have caused the needless deaths of others. Thanks everyone for sharing.
