Hearing Cold-Hearted Snake -- Paula Abdul
Clear Channel isn't my favorite corporation ever -- they're the folks who helped make all your radio stations sound exactly the same -- but on their Web site they have a site where they're showing off their HD radio programming, which are entirely new stations that you can hear when (and if) you have HD Radio. These new stations are rather finely chopped: You can get a talk radio format for women, adult contemporary oldies, or a workout channel. It's interesting to sample.
Of course, those who have been listing to radio online or through satellite radio the last couple of years will be saying "big whoop," but, hey. Variety is good, wherever it comes from.
Of course, having said that, the 80s station I'm listening to just started playing Europes "The Final Countdown." Yeah, I'm switching formats now.
